will be holding a silent auction throughout the weekend to help defer expenses.
June 8 –Arrive
any time after 2:00 pm. Evening
meal at farm about 6:30.
June 9 – Breakfast on your own
Possible tour opportunities: We will leave from farm for these tours at approximately 9:00 am.
Oregon Trail Park, Oz Museum Wamego, Cemeteries, St. Marys Historical Museum - Lloyd & Dorothy Hoobler Display.
Lunch at Farm – 12 – 1:00 - Afternoon Optional Activity: Hayrack ride to Pillsbury Crossing – Natural rock bottom crossing in the creek. Area where early Zeandale settlers first settled. Learn about Horace Tabor, Silver King of Colorado and his Zeandale ties. Visiting at Farm.
Evening Meal at Farm – 6:30 pm
June 10 – Breakfast at Farm – Parting ways.
Lodging – A block of rooms have been reserved for the 8th and 9th under “Hoobler Family Reunion” at the following locations:
Wamego Inn,& Suites, Hwy 24 & Lilac, Wamego KS 1-785-458-8888 Rate is $74.95/night.
Suites Blue Earth Plaza Manhattan, (Just
across bridge as you go into Manhattan)
is Single $79.95, King $89.95, and Double is $99.95.
